Supporting Local - Organiser Girl

Donna Wallace established Organiser Girl in 2012 and, as well as providing a wonderful

service to her community, she firmly believes in supporting local. Donna is based in

Gisborne after moving here six years ago with her husband (who grew up here) and her

family.

Organiser Girl provides a long list of lifestyle management services. They take care of

the tasks on your To Do List that you do not have time to do, or do not want to make

time to do! Donna has two employees who assist some of her Melbourne/CBD based

clients and a team of casuals in the Macedon Ranges.

Organiser Girl’s Lifestyle Managers provide, organise, source or oversee a wide variety

of services to help you free up your valuable time, so you can spend more time doing

what you love. Some of their services include (but are not limited to):

● Home organisation and decluttering

● Home and business administration

● Moving - coordination, packing and unpacking

● Personal errands

● Home repairs, maintenance and inspections, service connections

● Event and function assistance/management

Organiser Girl offers a free initial consultation and is offering Macedon Ranges

locals a 10% discount on their hourly rate for services booked for the month of

November. Mention code NOV10OFF when contacting.

Organiser Girl supports the local community by employing people from the area and

providing casual opportunities. Their services support locals to get through their to do

list or time-consuming tasks with minimal fuss and ease.

Organiser Girl supports other local businesses in many ways. Donna likes to purchase

something from a different local shop or service a few times each week. She believes

supporting local is one of the best ways for a community to thrive. Where possible,

Organiser Girl likes to purchase their office supplies and packing materials locally. They

alternate shopping at supermarkets and pharmacies and select a different location for

lunches and coffee meetings to support various local businesses. They have a list of

trusted local services they use.

Donna enjoys living in such a close-knit community. She grew up on a farm, 15 minutes

out of a very small country town in the Wimmera-Mallee. Having also lived in the city, she desperately wanted to be based somewhere more rural. She believes Gisborne’s

proximity to healthcare and the airport, public transport and the commute time to the city are all massive benefits of the town. As her children have grown, she has found the

early learning centres, kindergartens and the schools to be exceptional. Donna says

what she loves most about Gisborne is “it is small enough to get to know people,

form friendships and has a good community feel”. Donna says the most rewarding thing about running a local business is being able to help others in our community and schedule hours around school commitments.
