Kat Buttigieg has lived in the Macedon Ranges and surrounds for almost her entire life and feels a strong connection to this picturesque part of the world. In May 2018 she started Macedon Ranges Writers to pursue her other love, writing. Kat has always been writing in some form or another and saw an opportunity to turn her passion into a lifestyle. Through her copywriting work, Kat is able to have flexible hours around her family and also write for and endorse her local community. Kat has a BA in English Literature and Languages and is also a qualified teacher and certified copywriter. She has been published online with The Organic Place, Motherhood Melbourne, Cool Clutch and Kyneton On Riverside. She has also written articles for Daylesford and Macedon Ranges Life Magazine. Kat recently began a blog called Macedon Ranges Mumma which share ideas for family fun in the Ranges.
Jacqueline Damen also grew up in the Macedon Ranges area and is a mum of two, certified copywriter and teacher specialising in Literacy, Social Studies and Language. Karla Popovic moved to the Macedon Ranges several years back but has always been an avid writer. She is a mum to four, qualified teacher and is a published author. Her novel is called The Mira Side and she regularly shares poetry on her Instagram author handle Kizmit_karla_s.
